Two things live here: the liturgies we actually use week by week, and the published resources I lean on to build them.
The liturgy we actually used
Each week I post the order of service as it was genuinely led on the Sunday — prayers, songs, the lot — with every borrowed piece credited to its source. It’s a record for us, and it’s here for anyone who finds it useful.
This Sunday — 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time, 16th August 2026
Genesis 39:1-20 — Joseph and Potiphar’s wife. Led by Roger, with prayers from Spill the Beans Issue 47 and a centring meditation set to Lior’s “Avinu Malkeinu.”

Helpful Lectionary Based Resources
As a boring UCA Minister, obviously everything I use is only ever found in the wonderful Uniting in Worship 2. Genuinely, I do use it… It’s got some good stuff in it.
I also use the L3 resources. In my opinion, these are some of the world’s best liturgical resources for congregational use. They are Australia/NZ based, but I am as well. If you are a member of the UCA in South Australia, we are discounting it for congregational use.
I LOVE Spill the Beans. The Church of Scotland is, well, Scottish. This means I have to change some language, but so what… the content is great.
In the L3 resources, you’ll see Words for Worship. This is good for more traditional worship services that I am involved in at the moment.
I’ve used Seasons of the Spirit for many, many years. I am a UCA Minister after all. But Seasons of the Spirit is no more.
